The village of San Felice, which is the ancient San Felice Scovolo, preserves in the historic center the remains of the ancient Castle, the Rotingo Palace, built in the seventeenth century, now the seat of the Town Hall.
The walk through the center makes us discover the former Monte di Pietà of San Felice, an elegant Venetian-style building, with a five-arched arcade with square pillars of ashlar stones
The Baroque Parish Church, dedicated to the Martyrs S. Felice, S. Adauto and S. Flavia, is located right in the center of the village and contains valuable works of art including the altarpiece of Romanino, for this it is worth visiting
Just outside the historic center of San Felice del Benaco stands the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Carmine, an ancient Romanesque church built in 1460 and run by the Carmelite Friars. Frescoed inside, constant destination of many pilgrims. The Sanctuary of the Carmine celebrates the feast of Our Lady of Carmine with 16 July.
Another very beautiful church is the one that stands on the promontory of San Fermo, in front of Isola del Garda: built in the fifteenth century it also offers a breathtaking view of the waters of Lake Garda. In this area stood a castle, destroyed in 1279.

The purely hilly morphology has made this country the largest producer of olive oil in Valtenesi, as well as the father of vines such as Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera. Every year there is the “Wine Fair in the streets of the old town.
The historical centre of the village is a very popular landmark. Interesting is the gallery built on the walls of the castle (Castle of Polpenazze), to recreate the ancient patrol of the sentries, and the adjoining tower-museum, from which you can enjoy a view towards the Valtenesi and against the backdrop of Lake Garda. In the squares inside the Castle are organized many events and shows, especially in the summer season, which attract many visitors, thanks to the panorama of the morainic hills of Valtenesi.
Do not miss the Church of San Pietro in Lucone and the parish church, the imposing Church of the Nativity of the Madonna. Among the civil architecture deserves Casa Palazzi with its extraordinary terrace on Lake Garda.
