Padenghe sul Garda is located on the shore of Lake Garda in the province of Brescia and is surrounded by green morainic hills that, softly arranged in a crown, cover a large area.
Archaeological finds testify that the occupation of Padenghe dates back to the Neolithic. In Roman times the town was an important trading port. The climate is mild and the Mediterranean vegetation, typical of the areas south of Lake Garda. As in many other towns and cities around Lake Garda, the surrounding areas are surrounded by meadows with vineyards, olive groves and cypresses. This land, in fact, is the productive area of the most important D.O.C. of the province of Brescia: the "Garda Classico”, belongs to the Valtenesi , the agricultural area that extends south-west of the Garda, between Padenghe and Salò. You can also taste other renowned DOC wines, such as Chiaretto, Rosso and Rosso Superiore, with a harmonious and inviting taste.
Padenghe sul Garda offers its visitors the choice between two main beaches, both pebble and with access both free and paid for those who want to rent sunbeds and umbrellas. The beaches of Padenghe are comfortable, offering kiosks, bars, toilets and showers.

Some important attractions to visit here are the Castle, the Church S.Emiliano, Parish of St. Mary, Villa Barbieri, the Padenghe Museum.
There are also many excursions to do with a bike, an e-bike or on foot and much important are the different type of sport that you can practice here like diving or tennis, but there’s also a sport centre.
