Moniga del Garda is a small town in the province of Brescia, located on the west shore of Lake Garda.
The town is well known by wine connoisseurs, being the center of production of Rosé Wine. The wine is produced from the vines of Groppello. The production of olive oil also has a certain importance and is protected by the "Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva DOP Garda. The hilly landscape around Moniga offers different possibilities for cyclists and mountain bikers: little trails through olive groves, vineyards and fields with a view of Lake Garda that seems taken from a postcard.

Going to the right from the port there are small beaches, more isolated and wild stones, while to the left, following the lakeside promenade, the beaches are all equipped with every comfort, wide open spaces and shaded areas.

In the surroundings of Moniga there are places and attractions to reach even with a simple boat trip: Riva, Torri, Malcesine, Gardone, Salò, Desenzano and the Valtenesi where to buy the Garda Dop olive oil and Garda wines.
