Gargnano is a large town in a central location and is part of regional Park of Alto Garda Bresciano; consists of 14 small hamlets: Bogliaco, Briano, Costa, Formaga, Fornico, Liano, Mignone, Musaga, Sasso, Muslone, Navazzo, Torrazzo, Villa, Zuino. Gargnano gives the visitor an intimate atmosphere rich in history and art with its historical palaces and villas, religious monuments of considerable value, lemon gardens.
Gargnano is an ideal place to spend a holiday of relaxation, nature and sun. There is the possibility to choose between different beaches according to your tastes and needs.
Usually these beaches are not very large, but are equipped with every type of comfort and for all the ages.
You can reach, by this point, many places and town even with a simple excursion by ferryboat.
There are many particular attractions to visit in Gargnano for example Villa Bettoni, Church of San Martino del Vantini or church of San Giacomo in Calì, but the most know are the “Limonaie”, high pillars that point the sky, all in a row, enclosed on three sides by white stone walls. The lemon houses were built to make possible the cultivation of citrus fruits in relatively cold climates.
Here and in the surroundings, there is the possibility to practice many sports like Paragliding, Golf, Wind Surf and Kite Surf, but also Cycling and Sailing.
